but did you know we’re also WILD about education?

In addition to great group discounts for school and youth groups, Wet ‘n Wild offers the new self-guided educational program Science Challenge. It can be used in conjunction with a day of swimming and fun, or stand alone as an experience for groups opting not to swim. Wet ‘n Wild is open year-round, so you can fit the Science Challenge into your lesson plan whenever you wish. The program is free of charge and directed toward middle/high school students.

The Science Challenge Teacher Introduction and Student Booklet can be downloaded below. Wet ‘n Wild can also provide printed copies upon request when you make your group reservation.

This program was developed in partnership with the Florida Academy of Sciences , INC., a non-profit organization with objectives to stimulate interest in the sciences, promote scientific research and encourage the diffusion of scientific knowledge. Through the Science Challenge program Wet ‘n Wild and the Florida Academy of Science are working to take science out of the classroom and make learning more fun for students. In addition, Wet ‘n Wild is proud to encourage interest in science as a member of the COPUS network (Coalition on the Public Understanding of Science).

Performance Information & Considerations:

• Performance area is near the DJ Booth next to the Surf Lagoon. Or choose to perform at our park entrance as our park guests first arrive.
• Please be aware that the performance area is uncovered with a textured concrete surface.
• Uniform/costumes are not necessary for performance(s), but appropriate attire is expected.
• Program is for standing performances only and there is no storage available for any equipment.
• Requirement for performance includes purchase of group admission and food option.
• Performances are available year-round.

Reservations are required three weeks in advance. Your reservation is not confirmed until you receive a reservation number. Purchase of a group package is required for all performances. Based on availability.

Tickets may be picked up in the Administration Building, Monday through Friday 9AM to 4PM (seasonal hours, check times and availability).
