Maintenance Technician - Currently Hiring
  
Department:Maintenance
Reports To:Maintenance Lead
Status:Full-Time
Duties:Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Receive verbal and written instructions and complete assignments efficiently with a minimum amount of follow-up.

General knowledge of equipment repair as it relates to: electric, plumbing, pumps, motors, welding, carpentry, fiberglass. Account for tools and their maintenance.

Work with hand and power tools.

Work safely and abide by all company Safety Rules and Regulations.

Willing to perform and complete any and all work related to park maintenance.

Trouble shoot and carry out repairs on all equipment and rides.
Experience:Minimum of 5 years of practical experience.
Education:High school degree desired but not required.
Basic reading and writing skills.
Comments:Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance.

Work with hazardous chemicals and understand the importance of safety.

Work in conditions that are hot, noisy and confining (possibly underwater).

Lift a minimum of 30 lbs.

Climb stairs and towers.

Stand for long periods of time.

Must be 18 years old or older.

May be required to wear a half-face respirator.

Security Officer - Currently Hiring
  
Department:Security
Reports To:Security Manager
Status:Part-Time
Duties:Assures the security and safety of the guests and team members by observing and monitoring for unsafe or threatening conditions.

Escorts cash drops, money transfers, building checks and safe checks on property during and after hours.

Assists with crowd control during peak attendance periods and special events.
Responds to incidents such as traffic accidents, theft or property damage, disorderly conduct by a guest or employee, and follows up with a written report.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Wet ‘n Wild policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Experience:One to three years previous security experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

A background check is mandatory and results must meet Wet ‘n Wild background check criteria.

Class D Security License must be obtained within first 90 days (required). Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License
Education:High School Diploma or GED.

Comments:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ality to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
