Lifeguard - Currently Hiring
Reports To:Operations Supervisor
Duties:Enforce general park rules, ride rules, and safety rules.

Provide adequate instructions to and dispatch guests.

Assure guest safety and provide first aid care.

Perform job functions within all the park policies and procedures as noted in the Team Member Handbook and Operations Department Manual.

Assure the correct use of the slides by the guests.

Contribute to park clean up which includes park pick-up, pressure washing, cleaning tables, and hosing walkways.

Perform reasonably related business duties as assigned.

Meet the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training requirements for a lifeguard certification which are:

a. Swim 300 yards continuously using the breast stroke and free style techniques.
b. Retrieve a 10 pound brick from 8 feet of water.
c. Tread water for 2 minutes
d. Pass a written and practical American Red Cross certification test (yearly).

Stand for long periods of time.

Perform activities that require flexibility.

Tolerate cold and hot weather plus cold water.

Lift heavy people on a backboard.

Climb stairs up to 7 stories high.

Physical exertion to perform rescues.

Carry heavy objects such as hoses, tables, and signs.

Attend 4 hours of In-service Training per month.

Participate in American Red Cross audit programs.
Experience:Basic Water Rescue certification (obtained during employee training).

CPR for Professional Rescuer certification (obtained during employee training).

Experience is helpful but not required.
Education:Must be currently enrolled in high school or GED equivalent. If not attending, must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Comments:Must be a strong swimmer. Must be well groomed, neat, and polite. Daily work hours are subject to change throughout the park operating seasons. Must be at least 16 years of age. Must pass the American Red Cross Lifeguard training course.

Maintenance Technician - Currently Hiring
Reports To:Maintenance Lead
Duties:Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Receive verbal and written instructions and complete assignments efficiently with a minimum amount of follow-up.

General knowledge of equipment repair as it relates to: electric, plumbing, pumps, motors, welding, carpentry, fiberglass. Account for tools and their maintenance.

Work with hand and power tools.

Work safely and abide by all company Safety Rules and Regulations.

Willing to perform and complete any and all work related to park maintenance.

Trouble shoot and carry out repairs on all equipment and rides.
Experience:Minimum of 5 years of practical experience.
Education:High school degree desired but not required.
Basic reading and writing skills.
Comments:Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance.

Work with hazardous chemicals and understand the importance of safety.

Work in conditions that are hot, noisy and confining (possibly underwater).

Lift a minimum of 30 lbs.

Climb stairs and towers.

Stand for long periods of time.

Must be 18 years old or older.

May be required to wear a half-face respirator.
