Deep Water Lifeguard - Currently Hiring
   
Department: Operations
Reports To: Operations Supervisor
Status: Part-Time
Duties: • Enforce general park rules, ride rules, and safety rules.

• Provide adequate instructions and dispatch guests.

• Assure guest safety and provide first aid care.

• Perform job functions within all the park policies and procedures as noted in the Team Member handbook and Operations Department manual.

• Assure the correct use of the slides by the guests.

• Contribute to park clean up which includes park pick-up, pressure washing, cleaning tables, and hosing walkways.

• Perform reasonably related business duties as assigned.

• Meet the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training requirements for a lifeguard certification which are:

     a. Swim 300 yards continuously using the breast stroke and free style techniques.
     b. Retrieve a 10 pound brick from 8 feet of water.
     c. Tread water for 2 minutes.
     d. Pass a written and practical American Red Cross certification test (yearly).

• Stand for long periods of time.

• Perform activities that require flexibility.

• Tolerate cold and hot weather plus cold water.

• Lift heavy people on a backboard.

• Climb stairs up to 7 stories high.

• Physical exertion to perform rescues.

• Carry heavy objects such as hoses, tables, and signs.

• Attend 4 hours of in-service training per month.

• Participate in American Red Cross audit programs.
Experience: • Basic Water Rescue certification (obtained during employee training).

• CPR for Professional Rescuer certification (obtained during employee training).

• Experience is preferred but not required.
Education: • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Maintenance Technician - Currently Hiring
   
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Lead
Status: Full-Time
Duties: • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

• Receive verbal and written instructions and complete assignments efficiently with a minimum amount of follow-up.

• General knowledge of equipment repair as it relates to: electric, plumbing, pumps, motors, welding, carpentry, fiberglass. Account for tools and their maintenance.

• Work with hand and power tools.

• Work safely and abide by all company Safety Rules and Regulations.

• Willing to perform and complete any and all work related to park maintenance.

• Trouble shoot and carry out repairs on all equipment and rides.
Experience: • Minimum of 5 years of practical experience.
Education: • High school degree desired but not required.

• Basic reading and writing skills.

• Work with hazardous chemicals and understand the importance of safety.

Painter - Currently Hiring
   
Department: Maintenance

Status: Full-Time
Duties: • Gathers and prepares necessary information, tools and items needed to complete all assigned tasks.

• Picks colors and mixes paint while using color matching for desired assignment. Creates, maintains and uses painting documentation.

• Preps surface to be painted. Consists of cleaning, scraping, caulking, applying putty, and sanding. Preps corroded metal to SSPD SP2 and SP3 hand and power tool cleaning specs for corrosion mitigation

• Applies paint to prepared surface assigned including but not limited to brush, roller, spray. Utilizing but not limited to industrial epoxy based paint and primer systems.

• Mud, tape and finish interior drywall.

• Cleans up paint area. Consists of picking up used tarps, scraping, removing tape, cleaning brushes used, cleaning spills, resealing paint cans, and cleaning paint buckets. Then stores equipment/tools in designated storage area.

• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established WnW policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

• Performs other duties as assigned. Including slide seam and caulking maintenance.
Experience: • Three years minimum experience.

• Equivalent combination of education and experience also considered.

• Experienced in industrial paint and coating applications including large steel structures and corrosion mitigation techniques.

• Experienced with industrial epoxy based paints, primers and rust converters

• Provides timely documentation for each team member and guest completely, legibly and accurately; documenting the appropriate assessment and treatments; documenting on the appropriate paperwork and electronic files. Provides copies and files documents as required.

• Completes shift responsibilities to include, opening and closing checklists, restocking supplies at bases, airway bags and shared department packs and equipment. Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.

• Authorizes treatment for team members to receive outside medical care. Notifies supervisors off all team members and guests sent off property for further treatment.

• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Wet ’n Wild policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

Experience: • To perform this job successfully, an individual must have-hospital care provider- ER or urgent care experience. Park attraction experience helpful.

• 1 year experience
Education: • FL Paramedic Certification, Basic Life Support and Advance Cardiac Life Support.

• FL Paramedic Certification. Mandatory certification as BLS provider. and Advance cardiac life support provider.

Duties: • Maintains park quality standards by thoroughly performing all cleaning duties; Sweeping, litter picking, trash removal, restroom care, high dusting, mopping and pushing water by use of a squeegee.

• Promotes and provides exemplary guest service for both internal and external customers. Answers questions and offers information in a courteous manner. Offers to take guests' pictures and provides assistance when needed.

Operations and Tech Base Coordinator - Currently Hiring
   
Department: Administration
Reports To: Administration Supervisor
Status: Part-Time
Duties: • Receives incoming calls where data is collected, complied and updated through various IT and reporting systems to include: incoming trouble maintenance calls for rides, merchandise area, food venues, food equipment, support buildings and any on-site facility.

• Communicates and dispatches the appropriate technical trade in response to non-emergency and emergency issues and monitors radio channels for Technical Services and Attraction Operations to ensure timely response. Generates work orders from trouble maintenance calls, tracks and reports response information.

• Compiles hourly report data and distributes operational statistical reports regarding park attendance, attraction statistics, downtimes, and park capacity to all level of the WnW management team. Handles calls from team members calling the call in line, maintains call logs in accordance to established attendance guidelines and reports information to appropriate parties.

• Maintains inventory of all communication devices. Responsible for the collection, distribution of radios, cell phones, and venue keys. Provides operating instruction and troubleshoots equipment.

• Updates and maintains management schedules, organizes and distributes daily mail and FedEx, departmental phone listings, daily snapshots, team member reference guides, daily park news information sheet, and provides information to team members and management at the service counter or via the telephone

• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established WnW policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

Experience: • 1-3 years clerical; customer service, computer experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Education: • High School diploma or GED is required.
Comments: • Required to perform simple computer tasks and pass the Internal Staffing tests for Word and Excel. Typing speed of 25 wpm is required.

Duties: • Maintain, install, service and repair all utility electrical systems park wide including but not limited to all site lighting, lighting contactors and signage.

• Maintain, install, service and repair all park wide life safety electrical systems and equipment including but not limited to all UPS, generators, transfer switches and egress lighting.

• Maintain, install, service and repair all main switchgear, main breakers, sub panels and branch circuits.

• Maintain, install, service and repair all utility and facilities motors including but not limited to motor control centers.

• Infrared testing of breakers, switch gear and related equipment and associated electrical equipment.

• Provide quality inspections of emergency back-up equipment including but not limited to UPS systems, generators and all emergency back-up equipment of work provided by vendors and contractors.

• Assist coordinator with permitted projects including but not limited to initial job scopes and load calculations.

• Assist Creative and Planned Work with projects including but not limited to initial electrical plans, follow up inspections of completed work and underground electrical locations for projects as required.

• Maintain, service, switching and repair of high voltage switchgear, transformers and branch circuits up to 480V.

• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

Experience: • 5-7 Years: Required experience in industrial and commercial construction, maintenance facility or a fast paced service company dedicated to electrical repair. 3-5 Years: Preferred experience in theme park industry.

Comments: • Valid Florida Drivers License/ required to operate company vehicles.
