Assure the correct use of the slides by the guests.
Contribute to park clean up which includes park pick-up, pressure washing, cleaning tables, and hosing walkways.
Perform reasonably-related business duties as assigned.
Meet the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training requirements for a shallow water lifeguard certification which are: a) Swim 300 yards, b) Retrieve a 10-lb. brick from 8 feet of water and c) Pass a written and practical American Red Cross certification test (yearly).
Stand for long periods of time.
Perform activities that require flexibility.
Tolerate varying weather and water temperatures.
Lift injured guests on a backboard.
Climb stairs up to 7 stories high.
Physical exertion to perform rescues.
Carry heavy objects such as hoses, tables and signs.
Attend 4 hours of In-service Training per month.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Trouble shoot repairs on all equipment and rides.
Receive verbal and written instructions and complete assignments efficiently with a minimum amount of follow-up.
General knowledge of equipment repair as it relates to: electric, plumbing, pumps, motors, welding, carpentry, fiberglass, welding, a/c and refrigeration.
Account for tools and their maintenance.

Comply with all guidelines relative to the First Aid Forms and maintain appropriate records on a daily basis.
Assist the nurse in Team Member Incident Report Forms for all work related illnesses and injuries which requires outside medical intervention, results in loss of work time or requires administration of tetanus toxic.
Assist in maintaining the First Aid area in a clean and orderly manner.
Check the schedule on a regular basis and discuss any problems at least one week prior to the day as scheduled.
Provide support to the nurse on duty during peak hours when First Aid becomes busy with guests.
Assist internal park security.
Assist in ascertaining the cause of all injuries treated in First Aid and report all hazardous or potentially hazardous situations to the Operations Duty Manager.
Assist the Operation Leads in park supervision.
Assist the Park Trainer upon request to train the Lifeguards and the Park Service.
Read and initial the Staff Communication Book each shift. Enter comments as necessary.
Inspect the park for safety during the first part of each week. Fill out and turn in all safety forms to the Director of Park Operations.
Assist the nurse on duty with park opening, park operations and park closing procedures as listed in the job descriptions for the First Aid's RNs.
Review and update the Material Safety Data Sheets.
Will be trained for both park and office responsibilities.

Prior public relations experience.

Graduate of an accredited nursing school

Must be professional with all guests/Team Members.
Required to work weekends and holidays.
Must be able to lift over 25 lbs. and be able to run to emergencies in the park. Must also be able to bend, kneel, squat and use both hands and legs.
